What are your 'Miranda rights' and when must police read them to you?

Established in Miranda v. Arizona (1966), Miranda rights must be read before a custodial interrogation. They include the right to remain silent, the warning that anything said can be used against you, the right to an attorney, and the right to have an attorney appointed if you cannot afford one.
